Sen. Collins Mentions GU Senior in Acceptance Speech

Senator Susan Collins receives the Champion of Student Success award at the National Council for Community and Education Partnerships (NCCEP) conference that took place July 17-20, 2011 in San Francisco, California. In her acceptance speech, Collins talks about the importance of supporting programs such as GEAR UP, as well as mentioning a quotation from Lee Academy Maine senior and GEAR UP student Rodney Banks.
