Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS)
Funded by the Maine Department of Education to the Maine Partnership of Partnerships, Syntiro is providing professional development, technical assistance, web-based resources and materials for educators serving children and youth (birth through age 20) in the area of positive behavioral supports in six regions of the state. This work is done in collaboration with Central Aroostook Council on Education, Washington County Consortium, Downeast Educational Partnership, Northwoods Partnership, Penobscot River Education Partnership, and the Midcoast Regional Professional Development Center. More than 50 SAUs, 120 schools and more than 20,000 children and their teachers, administrators, families and community members are directly benefiting from the project’s efforts. www.mepbis.org
