December 13, 2011
Bangor Motor Inn, Bangor, ME
4:00 - 7:00 p.m.
SESSION POSTPONED - WATCH FOR NEW DATE
This fun, interactive session will engage participants in learning about the benefits of personalized learning. To begin this journey, participants will identify their own goals, examine their learning styles, and identify resources and opportunities for achievement of these goals. They will then connect their goals to specific action steps with assessments of progress and alignment to Common Core or Maine Learning Standards. Next, participants will review a variety of personalized learning processes being employed educators across the nation. They will examine and discuss some of the most critical components of personalized learning processes to identify the elements they want to include in their plans. To bring this experience to closure participants will develop their personalized learning process (plan), use this to complete their personalized learning plans, and have a processes they can use with their students the next day!
