• Being reminded of the importance of using formal vocabulary with the students and not taking for granted that they understand the meaning of the words you are using.

• Many of the strategies can be used in other subjects.

• Having the presenter demonstrate the ideas and concepts and giving us the opportunity to participate in the learning
