Syntiro is a nonprofit that is home to a number of initiatives in education located in Readfield, Maine.
We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide support for GEAR UP staff, create and manage online documents, assist with HR functions, and oversee the daily functions of the office.
The Administrative Assistant will work closely with GEAR UP staff to:
Organize professional development and conferences including travel for program staff. Organize and manage the GEAR UP Google drive and contacts. Coordinate with the GEAR UP Director and Syntiro President to provide support for various HR functions for GEAR UP personnel.
The ideal candidate will have strong skills in the following: communication; organization; ability to focus on details, technology (office equipment, google drive, other office related apps) ability to work concurrently with several individuals in a team setting with an array of projects.
This is a full-time position, contingent on external grant funding, based in Readfield, ME with competitive salary and benefits for the most qualified candidate. A criminal background check is required.
Qualifications: An Associate’s degree is strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience in a related field is required.
